Knitting for the Holidays

Last year I decided to make everyone knitted gifts for Christmas. That didn't turn out so well because I was too busy. I tried it again this year with lower expectations and it turned out better.


My mom wanted a hat like my rasta hat, so I made one for her using the amazingly wonderful Lorna's Laces in Berry.


Here it is finished, using Shannita's pattern from Knitty Gritty. Sorry folks, it hasn't aired yet!


I was able to give this to my mom on Christmas, and she didn't even realize until I told her that I made it.


My interpretation of Marnie MacLean's Hooray for Me gloves.
