Team Marie vs. the Martinis

Team Marie hit the streets for a night on the town. First stop, Beauty Bar!

There is a little slice of heaven in Hollywood, where for $10 you can get a martini and a manicure, or a martini and a henna tattoo.

You can order tasty drinks with names like "Shampoo," "Perm," and "Prell."

And we had to finish our cocktail crawl with a stop at Lola's. Still, no one dares to consume the Garlic Mashed Potato Martini, but we kept ourselves occupied with a little Key Lime Pie, Mint Chocolate, Strawberry Fields Forever, and A Taste of Honey (aka, the Pachouli Martini).

Cocksuckers for everyone! And that's the news.

The Decline of the Needle Nation

So, how did I spend my summer? Well, there was a lot of drinking on the job...

This is me, immediately after the last show.

Yes that's right, we survived 65 episodes and we still came out strong. Sort of. Anyway, the set was cool.

This was one of Kimberly's shows. We learned a little too late that quilts were a little to complicated to cram into 18:55.

Thanks for watching. I'll see ya next time. Cheers!

Beyond Panoche

Their stories must be told.

It was the last weekend of June, and I was called upon to be a traveling companion up the 5.

We were lucky to have an easy drive, and came across some delightful people at our pit stops. Bless their hearts. We pulled over at Panoche. We weren't about to take our chances with Little Panoche.

We arrived in the beautiful town of San Juan Bautista.

Or was it Universal Studios?

Pulled up the hotel, which was fully equipped with a jacuzzi tub and dual shower heads. This was the highlight of the weekend.

We grabbed some lunch and ran off to the wedding.

We walked to our destination. Apparently proceeding two streets by foot is unheard of by the hotel staff.

Arrived at the mission... but it was the wrong wedding...

So after much confusion, we popped our heads around the side of a building.

Aha! This is where everyone was hiding.

They cut the cake, which was many flavors of evil goodness.

And all night proclaimed, "She's so beautiful. They love each other!"

Oh, Marie. I hope the pictures never surface of us dancing with the stars to Billy Idol and Kelly Clarkson. Yes, as expected, Marie and Jag got this party started...

The next day, we grabbed some coffee and said good bye to the town. Good-bye San Andreas Fault!

If you can get over the earthquakes, traffic, smog, over-crowding... California is gorgeous.

Next stop, TAFT!

How I Spent My Summer Vacation

How I spent my summer vacation, by Jag.

Dear Diary, I wish I could tell you I spent the beautiful summer days outside by the lake, eating a ginormous pizza from Big Mama's and Papas.

But unfortunately, I spent all of my days inside in the frosty studio.

Cross-Stitching patterns on my sister's computer...

Watching Dave put up the daily cartoon...

Rehearsing for 65 episodes...

Latch hooking street art...

Hanging out with the Hookers...

This one's called, "I'm drunk and you're Mr. Belding!"

And Friendship Nights consisted of me and Brynne. A shout out goes to all my homies who I've neglected. I hope to see you all soon! XXX

Anthony's Birthday

Once again, the usual suspects find themselves on the corner of Santa Monica and Robertson. The venues may be turning over, we may be getting older, but the girls still know how to throw down.

We started the night with tapas and mojitos, and then sauntered down to the Abbey for martinis.

Happy Birthday Pookie, we had a fabulous evening once again!
