Saturday was a gorgeous day to be out celebrating the 4 J's 30th birthday! Keep reading...
So I was guilty of one thing. Not taking enough pictures. I'm never guilty of this crime, nor will I ever be again! Fortunately we live in the digital age and I was able to lift a few pics from friends. Too bad it was already dark by the time we got pics of the 4 celebrants. Happy Birthday J, J, J and J!
We had little information about the event except that it would be a garden party in the afternoon and transportation would be provided to and from the event. We were happy to find that the event was at a house in Lobster Bay! That's me, without my monkey shoes.
It was a gorgeous, mild, spring day. A perfect day to be with friends in the grass and on the sand.
It's the little things that make me happy. Besides the wonderful company, I was SO THRILLED that everyone was wearing COLOR. Yep, we look pretty darn good.
It is a luxury to be surrounded by that much green in HK.
The spread was fantastic and I did park myself in front of the food station for a while. The servers were pretty good with the topping up and we went through the champagne, then the white wine pretty quickly :)
Eventually we kicked off our shoes and headed down to the beach.
And by this time I'd had several glasses of champagne, followed by a couple glasses of white, then several more glasses of red....
This is completely adorable but I don't really remember this picture being taken! Nor do I much remember the ride home. But thankfully I was clearheaded for our chow down at Tsui Wah. This was an unbelievably perfect day and friends from Singapore, China and Thailand flew in for the event. I hope we can do it again soon.
Yep, it was a big day because after dinner I went to a bachelorette party...
