Pride and Prejudice

Example
Pride and Prejudice (2005)
Dir: Joe Wright

Every six months or so I get in the mood to watch a good romance. I usually don't prefer them. But every now and again I'll get the bug. I give P&P 3.5/5 stars. I was distracted by my own thoughts which is probably why I was a little disappointed. Also, I thought there was a lot more turmoil in the book. I'll have to revisit it one of these days since it's been about 10 years since I've read it.

Why do I believe there must be a lot of pain and sadness in order for a love story to be good?

Sorry, no real meaning to this comment except I can't turn up any chance to quote Shatner.

because pain and sorrow are part of love...duh...if it doesn't have it then you're right...it isn't real...just look at V for Vendetta...he tortured her because he loved her. Maybe I should try that. :)

this movie made me think of how much the aging Winnona Ryder must hate Keira Knightley.
