Another excerpt from an email to Mere:
So, the weight of the devastation in New Orleans, on top of the previous Tsunami disaster and more is really taking a toll on me. It's not helping that I work in a completely uninspired environment, perpetuating crap on tv. I'm thinking about taking the rest of the year off when my job ends to volunteer, focus on my writing and other ventures.
Tomorrow is Keanu's bday. Amen.

I'm totally gonna do the same after this next writing job, I think. Just a little time to spend working on my fiction (and the world!).
