I was told this is the epitome of Allan. It's colorful, it's blurry, and he's smiling.
Vickie with Jenna Adorno. This was for the polo episode.
And Jenna brought some fabulous knitsters.
Ian with my friend Candi Cane's dog, Carlotta.
Marnie MacLean with Lestat. He's famous!
Vickie with Amy Finlay
Sarah - knitster, model, and my best friend. Me, Vickie, and Amy.
Vickie with Marnie and Hooray for Me gloves.
We have too much fun :)
And you can see Vickie in the monitor behind us.
More to come!
Jagknits
This was done using Blue Sky Alpacas. So soft and lovely.
I am currently also working on: Brian's gigantic camouflage blanket, a sampler cuff for Anthony, fingerless gloves, a shrug/stole thingy...

Knit in the City
I was sent to New York for the weekend to do a shoot for Knitty Gritty on DIY. It was AWESOME.
Here's Vickie, our fabulous host, and me, "life saving field producer."
FRIDAY
In the wee hours of the morning, you can see the fires.
All planes should require DirectTV.
Here's where I started.
My room on Friday. It was just big enough to hold the bed.
The Marcel Hotel in Manhattan.
My soul.
SATURDAY
Production Day One. I didn't really know what anything was, where I was, nor did I have time to find out. So I just took a bunch of pictures.
The Point Knitting Cafe with Vickie and Deb Stoller - pioneer of the Stitch and Bitch movement.
My guest John, teaching a class. Check out his website- My Big Fat Needle
Hilarity in the making.
On Sunday I wore this on my back.
I bought a birthday cake as a prop. I carried it around for two days, and we ended up not doing the scene.
Patricia, our make up lady and cab-grabber.
The Sophie dogs.
I don't think you're allowed to take pictures the subway, but I nabbed a couple anyway.
Sighting #1, the Chrysler Building.
It's the BP Cafe, on the other side of the Library. How appropriate.
This shot was genius.
Hooray for no overtime.
Hotel room day 2.
SUNDAY

This one's for Jay.

And that's a wrap!
Our Team - Host Vickie, Director Celia, Audio Mark, Camera Tony, and Producer Jag. Do you like my Home Depot apron?
MONDAY
Sighting #2 - Sax Fifth Ave. And yes, we made time to stop in.
Hey Jay, it's time to put in a transfer for BN 5th Ave.
Snack dog and I will have to party next time.
The Library
Keep your eyes out for the short film featuring the Red Ball.
To ensure that we spent all of our per diem, since they wanted the remainder back, we dined at Tavern on the Green in Central Park.
Goat cheese makes me happy.
Say buh-bye to the hotel.
And what trip would be complete without catching a Weller/Grossman Production?
I hope I get to see you again soon, New York.
